From the Desk of the Pastor (The Heart of the Prophet)

Re-form- the improvement or amendment of what is wrong, corrupt, unsatisfactory, etc.

To change to a better state, form, etc.; improve by alteration, substitution, abolition, etc.

To cause (a person) to abandon wrong or evil ways of life or conduct

To put an end to (abuses, disorders, etc.)

To abandon evil conduct or error

At different times in the history of the church there have been times where a reformation was necessary. Just like anything else in life there are necessary adjustments. A brand new car will at some time need a tune up, our back sometimes need to be re-aligned, and there are times when we just need to refocus.

The cares of life can become a distraction and cause us to careen off the road to the kingdom.  The danger of this could be devastating and traumatic.  As we continue up the road to reach the promise, an intervention appears just in time.  The Re-formation has begun; it will not be televised but advertised through demonstration and manifestation.

Jeremiah 18:4 gives us great hope, it declares “And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it”.  This scripture tells us several things, it points to the fact that the clay marred in the hand of the potter and he made it again another.  He did not simply throw the clay away and start over.  He worked with what he had.  If you have come to the page today it was not by accident.  God needs you to know even though you may have been marred in the hands of the potter he is making you again another.

Allow me to interpret what that means, he is re-forming you, reshaping you and creating a vessel worthy of display.  At the close of this process you will be everything God intended you to be.  Be encouraged, enlightened, and empowered to rest on this truth.
