Who We Are

Our Story

In 2006, Prophet Shane and Prophetess Shirelle Bryant went in search to find a new church home. During this time, God began to deal with Prophet Shane and Prophetess Shirelle about planting a church. They began to seek God for instructions. In 2011, they begin to meet with a team of four to pray about the direction they were to take.

On September 8, 2011, United Kingdom Apostolic Ministries was launched out of the Red Roof Inn located in the city of Locust Grove, GA. Shortly after beginning Sunday morning service, at the request of the hotel, we were moved to the La Quinta across the parking lot to a larger room, with no increase in the rate. In 2013, prompted by God and some wise counsel the name was changed to The Reforming Church. With this change, the DNA of the church was revealed, and that was to reform people through the power of God. In January 2015, The reforming Church would move from Locust Grove, GA to McDonough, Ga.

We now have services on Sunday Mornings at 8 AM and Wednesday Nights at 7:30 PM. God is at work as He adds to the body numerically and spiritually. We invite you to see what it really means to be transformed, conformed, and reformed as you partner with us.

Vision of the Reforming Church

The vision of the Re-forming church is to be a catalyst for reformation. We will provide a clear concise approach to the application of biblical truths, while exemplifying a transformed life. We seek to be effective in the communities in which we reside. Our hearts desire is to see Jesus Christ fully formed in the lives of people. We are not advocates of religion but rather relationship. We believe, it is in the confines of relationship that one is changed and transformed. Therefore, we seek to connect the lost to a savior, the sick to a doctor, and the redeem back to their redeemer.

We, the Re-forming Church will accomplish our vision by regularly providing spiritual enrichment. This will be done through weekly bible studies, leadership conferences, and weekly worship services. It is clear, without the knowledge to change we will ultimately remain the same. We will be examples by extending Godly counsel, love, encouragement, and support. We will place the relationship with God above everything else. The bible tells us, it is not his desire that one should perish but all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV). Therefore, we will not excuse any opportunity to share God’s love and express his heart to those we interact with.
